Anonymous, circa 211-208 BC. 60 Asses (Gold, 15 mm, 3.34 g, 6 h), Rome. Draped bust of Mars to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet; below, 𐊜X (mark of value). Rev. ROMA Eagle with spread wings standing right on thunderbolt. Bahrfeldt 4. Crawford 44/2. RBW 160-1. Sydenham 226. Lightly toned. Light marks and minor die breaks and with some flan faults on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
